COD’s Homeland Security Training Institute, Tom Mefferd, and staff provided and excellent, in depth, practical training presentation to over 300 school safety professionals at the MAC theater. The School Safety Drill Act self-assessment tool will undoubtedly help many toward continuous improvement. The collaborative efforts of the DuPage County ROE, College of DuPage Homeland Security Training Institute and the Northern Illinois School Safety Administrators Association are moving the needle from compliance to a deeper level of competency.”
